REESE PRODUCTS,
INC. warrants its RECEIVER HITCHES, FIFTH WHEEL HITCHES, SWAY
CONTROLS, ELECTRONIC BRAKE
CONTROLS, TRAILERS, and ACCESSORIES against defects in materials and
workmanship under normal use and service, ordinary wear
and tear excepted, to the original consumer purchaser only for the
limited time period listed below. Subject to the exclusions below,
REESE
PRODUCTS agrees to repair or replace at REESE PRODUCTS’ election,
all defective components if examination at our manufacturing facility
or REESE dealer discloses the defect to be the fault of our
manufacturing process. Costs such as service for removing and
reinstalling any product or component, are to be paid by the consumer.
The manufacturer reserves the right to make changes in design or to
make additions or improvements without being obligated to install the
same upon products covered by this warranty.
This limited warranty may be enforced only by the first consumer user.
All subsequent purchasers acquire the product "as is",
without any benefit of this limited warranty. This limited warranty
gives you specific rights, and you may also have other rights which
vary from state to state.

Exclusions:
1. As purchaser’s
sole remedy, REESE PRODUCTS will repair or replace components
authorized for return by REESE customer service, freight prepaid to
REESE. The remedy is limited to replacement of defective parts only.
Labor charges and damage incurred in assembly
or component replacement are not covered. In the event that this
remedy is found to have failed its essential purpose REESE PRODUCTS’
liability shall be limited to the return of the purchase price of the
product.
2. This warranty does
not apply to any products that have been repaired or altered by anyone
other than REESE factory or other Authorized
Service Personnel. This warranty does not cover damages resulting from
accident, misuse, abuse, or neglect. The warranty is valid only in the
continental United States, Hawaii and Canada.
Limitations of
Warranty and Exclusion of Damages:
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY
IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING
WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A
PARTICULAR PURPOSE, SAID WARRANTIES BEING EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED. REESE
PRODUCTS DISCLAIMS LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL AND CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
IN NO EVENT SHALL REESE PRODUCTS LIABILITY EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE
OF THE PRODUCT.
Some states do not
allow the exclusion or limitation of consequential damages, so the
above limitation of or exclusion may not apply to you.
Some states do not allow the disclaimer of implied warranties. If
implied warranties are created, all implied warranties expire one (1)
year after the date of purchase. Some states do not allow limitations
on how long an implied warranty lasts, so this limitation may not
apply to you. You are advised that you may have additional legal
remedies provided to you under the laws of the state and/or Federal
laws not mentioned
above. These remedies may include the right to recover damages for
failure to perform the services described in this limited warranty.
REESE PRODUCT
LIMITED WARRANTY
Hitches
and Sway Controls, Fifth Wheel, Goose Neck Hitches and Trailer
Products.
Ownership
by the original purchaser/consumer, subject to limitations.
Five
(5) years from date of purchase by the original purchaser/consumer,
subject
to limitations.
Electronic Brake Controls
Three
(3) years from date of purchase by the original purchaser/consumer,
subject to
limitations
with the exception of the Digital which has a lifetime warranty.
TC-Series
Products, Multi-Fit Receivers, Bike Carriers and Trailboss Fifth Wheels
Three
(3) years from date of purchase by the original purchaser/consumer,
subject to limitations.
Accessories not
Manufactured by but sold by Reese Products
One
(1) year from date of purchase by the original purchaser/consumer,subject to limitations.
Products used by
professional haulers are subject to REESE PRODUCTS’ limited One (1)
year warranty.
